Do You Want a 1 Year's Subscription to Woman's Day and Good Housekeeping for FREE?

For 2014, one of my main Goals (no "resolutions" here) is to coupon more and SAVE MONEY!  Well, I've started couponing and got some great deals already in the first 2 weeks of 2014.  My husband is so proud of me and is even excited to be doing what he can to save money, looking for coupon offers and great deals, too.  One of the great deals I got was to buy Finish Dishwasher Detergent, a box of 32 gelpacs, in a Buy One Get One Free deal.  They were regularly $7.98 at my local Bi-Lo, but at B1G1F they came down to $3.99 a box.  Add a $2.15 coupon to that and I got a box for $1.84!  A $7.98 box for $1.84!!!  And because I actually had 2 of those coupons, I bought 2 boxes for that awesome price.  I was so pleased, because while I have not ever paid $7.98 for a box of that detergent, I have paid over $5 for it on sale.

Along with other great deals I received, there was an inadvertent one.  I bought Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste, regularly $3.69 but on sale for $2.99.  I used a $1 coupon to get that toothpaste for $1.99.  That was a good deal in itself.  However, when I got home I noticed that I was charged FULL PRICE for the toothpaste!  So I went back to the store.  And here is where I encourage you to KNOW YOUR STORE'S POLICY on mis-scanned items!  For our Bi-Lo in Metter, Georgia, they give you the difference back on the mis-scanned item PLUS you get one of that item FREE!  Did you get that?  Because the item did not scan at the correct price, I got another of the same item FREE!  Now some stores simply give you the entire price back for the item you paid for (making the item you bought Free), but some will give you the difference of the mis-scanned price and the sale price it should have been and give you another of the same item Free.  Find out what your store's policy is.  Realize that there is a National policy, and possibly International (for example, I know Australia has one), set in place for all stores as far as mis-scanned items. I'd be interested to hear in the Comments below what your store's policy is and where you are located.

So my original question was "Do you want a 1 year's subscription to Woman's Day and Good Housekeeping for FREE?"  Well, in my quest to save, I was looking for an "All You" magazine subscription for the cheapest I could find it. ( "All You" has a lot of coupons in it.)  I discovered RecycleBank.  Someone was able to get a subscription to "All You" absolutely FREE after earning points.  Don't worry.  Earning points is EASY there!  Well, there was not an "All You" paper subscription available at this time (though there is a digital version available if you want that).  Even though I didn't find what I went there searching for, I did find another GREAT DEAL!  I had just last week been eyeing a 2-magazine subscription offer for 1 year's subscription to "Woman's Day" and 1 year's subscription to "Good Housekeeping" all for $10.  Well, RecycleBank had this same offer for 240 points!  I easily earned 240 points and ordered my 2-magazine subscription!  And I learned more about recycling, pollution, and other interesting facts while earning!  So be sure to check out RecycleBank!  Sign up by clicking on my link and you'll help me earn 25 points!  Then get your own link to Refer A Friend (or you can refer through Facebook) and earn points, too!  Thank you so much for helping me to earn points! :)

That's all I have for you right now.  I hope I helped you get something for Free or at least gave you ideas of ways to save in 2014!

Now I'm off to buy a Sunday paper or two for more great coupon offers!  How about you?  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
